My point is that outside of Cole and Omen, everyone on TDE has been making music significantly longer than anyone on Dreamville (even Isaiah who's younger has been making music longer than Cozz/Bas who we know only started taking music seriously in the last five years). The are both grassroots/independent entities but the power structure under each label are vastly different. Plus TDE was "founded" in 2004 when Kenny signed, but Top Dogg has been managing producers since '97, so there is a huge disparity in depth of history, whereas Dreamville was founded in 2007 but only became an official label with signees in 2014. It's pointless to compare the two because their respective premises and histories are incomparable.

Dec 8, 2015 Every time I hear Caged Bird, around the time Omen starts rapping, I end up wishing Cole had put this on a different project and released it with a Nas or Godfather 50 verse.
