Which do you prefer and what does your collection mostly consist of?

For me I've only recently started purchasing blu ray movies. I have over 500 dvds and have been starting to consider making the switch to blu ray. The only problem that I have is that I'm kinda ocd about s--- and would want to transfer all my dvds to blu ray. Is it worth it? Another issue I have is that I'm pretty sure if I do start trading in Dvds for BR I' can almost guarantee that BR is going to be replaced by the next big thing

I prefer Bluray, but I have a larger DVD collection, because some things that are on DVD aren't available for Bluray yet, Like Punch Drunk Love :noah:

I prefer Blu Ray. The only time I ever get DVD is if it's a used disc or if someone buys me something for Christmas/Birthday.

Blu Rays all the way, had a small collection of DVD's when i was younger but over the last few years ive managed to build a nice little blu ray collection, around 300+ movies and tv box sets.

never been one for the steelbooks though... dont see the point in them.

Blu Ray is the superior medium. That said, secondhand DVDs are dirt cheap nowadays, so it kind of evens itself out.
