unless TES6 uses a new engine I don't want it this early... i expect a 2017-2018 release
when Skyrim came out, bethesda was also working on Fallout 4... which took another 5-6 years to release (dev time started in 2010)

Fallout 4 just came out... and I imagine most of the resources were put into it.. leaving TES6 on the back burner
if they did start on TES6... i would imagine it was around 2013 when Skyrim was finally done so that's 3 years of dev time
(still need 2 more years to match up with the 5 year windows they tend to release games in)

i'd prefer they were focused completely on TES6... it is their golden egg after all
and i don't see them rushing it considering they are about to remaster Skyrim

new engine, PS4/XboxOne/PC only.... that would be a true TES6 experience ... otherwise we get Fallout 4 with a new skin

this is all assuming Bethesda cares...if not, they pull a Ubisoft and start releasing games quicker to the point where you can't tell the difference between them... next thing we know TES becomes the next Assassins Creed and we get yearly games... which oddly some people wouldn't mind yearly TES games

It could go a number of ways, they've 100% already started work on VI its just a matter of when they think they'll be done. Oblivion came out in 06 then they turned around and released Fallout 3 in 08 so the cycle isnt always as long as some people think it is. I think its very possible VI drops in late 17/ early 18. Also keep in mind they are completely done with Fallout 4 now, so if they dont announce EOSVI this year it will definitely be next year, since they will be well into production by that time. THey dont really have a flagship game for their conference that we know of (outside of maybe dishonored 2) and they'll definitely want to try to steal the show like the did last year with Fallout 4. I'm hoping we just get a short teaser to hold us over. Elder Scrolls VI is definitely a thing, its only a matter of time before we hear about it.

I'm only looking forward to a potential Red Dead 3 announcement. A Skyrim remaster is unnecessary but I'd probably double dip for it. The PS3 version is atrocious and I'm too casual of a gamer to build a decent PC setup.
