Have a read of this, Microsoft reckons it wont be any different to the xbox atm unless you have a 4K tv.

From what I've seen/read online, your xbox games now will run exactly the same on scorpio, unless your also using a 4k TV. Seems more like a 4k TV adapter, than a console to me.

Also, apparently games that are already out, or released before Scorpio/Xbone S/New ps4 console, will still have fps caps until the game itself is updated. So I wouldn't recommend rushing to get the new console, wait a bit, let the price drop a bit, let dev's update their games - then get it. That's my plan anyway. (im 90% likely gonna get the new ps4 cause it supports 4k tv's just like scorpio)

Xbox one S is a console that's introducing 4K and its coming out in August. The difference with Scorpio is that it will be a lot more powerful having VR support.

Yeah I read into it a bit more and seems kind of promising. The dynamic scaling thing scorpio apparently has sounds promising. apparently certain games will scale their resolution down as more objects appear on screen so the frame rate is always smooth (frame rate drops/choppy frame rates really piss me off so this sounds good for me). Not fully sold on it yet, but deff keeping an eye on it

Very underwhelming E3. Nothing but that horizion game screams I want it. 4k is too expensive and new.on the market so its overpriced right now same goes with vr. You got thst guardian wiyh a release date, game was l i ke detox for a while there. Then you got your typical fps like battlefield or sports game like fifa. Zelda and 45th game in.that series. You got days gone looks okay, mix of last.of us and dead rising. Pokemon with its same rinse and repeat. I dunno the new slim xbox to replace the xbox vcr. Create your own controller, can already do that woopie. I dunno, nothing grabbing me sorry

dunno why people are that excited for scorpio, it's still the Xbox1 and it's not going to have exclusive games with better graphics technically, just 4k res, and the price tag def going to be ridiculous and also useless without a new tv to match

all of the other games seem boring af to me. Maybe Forza Horizon, but it's just another Forza Horizon

Nintendo should really start giving out NX info, this is the first time they've released ahead of the new gen (gen 8.5) . I must say that im impressed with nintendo. They did their research into other games, something that never happens with the core franchises, but its obvious the devs have played other open world games like skyrim and have taken MANY thing out of it. I don't like the ability to go to the final boss immediately. I like it being completely open from the start, but sometimes main quests send you in certain directions which can provide intentional map coverage (skyrim had alot of conveniently placed dungeons), it also makes me lesss inclined to deal with the main story since there is always the option of going to end the game anyway. Progression in gaming isn't a bad thing.

Every 3d entry in the zelda series has something that it had to near perfection. If they can look at all those past games, and take everything good from it, with those outside elements. Nintendo might be sitting on another (in their long list) of industy goats.

It was smart for them to not show the NX during a week with so much news. If they wait for a slow news day then they'll get everybody's full attention.

Also I just read that Aonuma said they're making Breath of the Wild for the people who hated Skyward Sword and gave an advance apology to fans who liked the motion controls. Not sure who those sadistic people are but I'm more excited than ever.

Yes. The screw attack controls in MP2 on Wii were unbearable. However besides that their only real use was just pointing at whatever you were shooting. It's not like in Skyward Sword where you had to swing the d--- thing with inscrutable precision.

I have the whole trilogy for Wii. MP3 is probably in my Top 20 games of all time. But the motion controls were almost solely for aiming Samus's arm cannon. In Skyward Sword you had to swing the Wiimote every time you swung the sword. Your hand had to be angled very precisely to get the correct swing. I can't tell you how many times what was supposed to be a horizontal strike registered as a diagonal one for me. When fighting Girahim at the beginning that's a big deal. And then there was the stupid birds you ride. The game was s---.

New god of war trailer, reactions = "omg they ruined my masterpiece trilogy how will I ever play games with such innovative 'square, square, square, square, triangle, triangle' controls ever again?!"
