Apr 6, 2015 finally got around to listening to this album real dark and grimy also his most personal work
Apr 6, 2015 great review...but the album stays being underrated outro to grief makes the album about an 11/10
Apr 6, 2015 First time I heard it I wanted to give it like a 5, it grew on me to almost an 8. Might keep growing.
Apr 7, 2015 Yeah I also didn't really like it on first listen except from a couple of songs. I liked it more the next 2 times that I listened to it but I still don't really care for Earl's rapping in some tracks and focus on the music. In Mantra, Grief, DNA and Wool he's very good, the rest get carried by the production imo, not that this is a bad thing. Maybe it'll grow more on me, but it's solid, and I appreciate that he took this approach with this album. Good review btw
