    but if it worked for him playing basketball it should work for me, no? like i walk all over the lot pushing carts and catching pokemons lol

    Yeah you have to have the app open. Turn on battery save under settings and the screen will shut off while it's in your pocket to preserve a little battery.

    10km just hatched, got a 336 CP Onyx. Nice pickup but was hoping for someone I didnt have.

    I've hatched a lot of eggs. Can't remember what distance gave me what but I've hatched: Weedle, Sandshrew, Clefairy, Vulpix, Oddish, Meowth, Machop (like 4x), Geodude, Doduo, Shellder, Tangela (twice), Pinsir, Tauros (twice), Goldeen, Pikachu, Omanyte

    Go to Settings to turn off Sound and Music. Turn on Battery Saver. Flip phone upside down and place in pocket.

    Also another way to save battery is to download offline Google Maps of the area that you're in. It'll save your phone from having to constantly refresh the maps.

    Google Maps > Offline Areas > Click on Plus Symbol to add maps > Download map of certain areas you think you'll frequent. Each map is like 20-40mb.

    Can't remember how many eggs I've hatched. I know I've hatched a Squirtle, two Pidgeys, two Caterpies, a Zubat and maybe something else.

    Currently have two eggs nearly hatched. Targeting 2km eggs for the starters atm.
