Jun 19, 2016I've done that for years on this board and its predecessors and the level of discourse just keeps getting lower and lower. I've given up on topics like this.
I mean I think SSLP is a *good* rap album. It's not great, and while it maximizes his skills in some respects, it certainly isn't an accurate reflection of where his talent level was at the time. I'm not sure if I'd say MMLP is particularly good.
MKL has higher highs (save "Twist My Fingaz," which is probably his best song). Still Brazy doesn't have a "Bicken Back" or a "Meet the Flockers." But what it does have is a half-dozen songs that are very, very, very close to that level: "Gimmie Got Shot," "Blacks and Browns," "Don't Come to L.A.," "I Got a Question," etc. I would give a slight edge to Still Brazy because he's improved as an out-and-out rapper, but I think they're very comparable in terms of quality. Imo it's been quite a a while since a rapper started his or her career with two albums that were both this good and this different from one another.

and although its off topic, i think MMLP is better than doggystyle. both are great albums, but for me eminem's performance is better. lyrically he's so impressive on that album, and certainly better than snoop on doggystyle
@Lamont saying otherwise isn't being "factually disingenuous". dude, which albums are better than other albums is nothing more than a bunch of opinions.Dread or Alive, Xmipod, Jerome and 1 other person like this. -

The discussion of Prime Eminem being the most complete rapper of all time is perfectly reasonable
The real question here is what he couldn't do?
From changing pop culture forever to having the enough skills to obliterate any rapper alive, I literally can't fathom why would you completely dismiss the argument in the first place and disregard it as biased bsDread or Alive, Xmipod, Pablo and 1 other person like this. -

Wow the Eminem hate here is real. Although his latest stuff has been trash, he had over half a decade of dominance. You can't reasonably say he's not top 10 when he literally ran the rap game for 6+ years.
