Wayne is better than Eminem by a margin that's so huge it's hard to explain.

Really, how so? discounting the sales and awards which Eminem by an overwhelming margin dominates wayne.

How is wayne a better rapper.

    Hmmm...both had primes...

Em: 1999-2003 (Started falling in late 2002 though)
    Wayne: 2005-2009

Both are far from their prime... but Wayne still can push out a crazy verse every now and then (YG's new song, M's). A couple verses off of Collegrove were ridiculous. So while he's not 10/10 anymore, he definitely picked himself up after that rough period from 2010-2013 and has delivered. Em...has not...at all. He relies on his crazy fan base to defend him for not dropping new material hardly ever, and when he does...it usually sucks. I blame Paul for being a s-----y yes man, and Em for several reasons.

Eminem is more of the style of rap that I enjoy, and I'm not even a big Wayne fan, but even I'd say Lil Wayne is far superior.

Neither are in my top 10 though, but Wayne is definitely closer than Eminem lol.

Dafuq? Before and After 2009's Relapse (which had a few high points to it), he did several collab projects followed by a 2010 recovery release, a few more collabs, a 2011 project with royce (which sounded pretty decent in terms of the bars) and after 2 years he dropped a 20(21) song album with really good songs (Baby, Groundhog Day, Rap God , Monster, Legacy, Evil Twin, Headlights etc) and the following year he made a compilation mixtape with new songs and (epic)freestyles and a collaborative Shady records Album with a few good Eminem verses (Die alone, DVE, PK ). He then was helping produce Love story (where dropped a fire verse ) and did the southpaw soundtrack where he dropped 4 new songs (2 with royce).
He went on Dre's compton album to drop one of the best verses he's ever done and then went on to do a speedy collab with tech 9. (more of a technical verse than anything with meaning, but then again, truffle butter isn't very meaningful either). After speedom which dropped in august. That was the last time we heard from em (almost a year ago), and everybody around him has been saying that he's been working on something since. So what the f--- are you on about hardly dropping anything. He just hasn't done anything this year (or at least he hasnt released anything)

Look, it's kind of pointless discussing this with you, after reading some of your opinions on Eminem's music, but f--- it.

Post hiatus, Eminem has been incredibly inconsistent, and most of the songs that you find to be "fire" are painfully average or less.

Eminem has, maybe, 10 good/great songs since his return. I'm not even exaggerating.

Lil Wayne is consistent and has a very impressive catalog, while Eminem's catalog is top heavy.

    Couple things...
Relapse s----d minus 5-6 tracks (Not counting the bonuses)
Recovery, and h---: The Sequel are nothing serious to write home about either.
Your right...MMLP2 did have some very good songs! That was 2013 tho. We live in an era now with the internet and rappers being able to drop song/mixtapes whenever. What's his excuse? Em could totally drop a 10 track mixtape every 6 months.
Shady XV was GODAWFUL. And Southpaw wasn't much better.

Speedom was horrible. Best Friend was alright. Medicine Man was good.

The only good verse Em has dropped since MMLP2 besides Medicine Man was Calm Down...that was a great verse, just a s-----y beat.

Wayne stays dropping good verses and keeping consistency, something Em lacks SO HARD.

What was wrong with HTS though? was a pretty fun ep.
    *I snapped* :scaryem:........
Yeah it was a solid grammy winning album. better than anything wayne released since C3.
    [/QUOTE]
Ok, i agree with that, but we would probably get about 10 songs like vegas or calm down. That and he did say in 'so far' that he doesn't really use the internet much, because he's kinda old school. From 2009-2014 he has been working alot though.
    Well,
nothing but bars and punchlines- ShadyXV, Right for me, Vegas
Something with a little meaning- Die alone, Fine line, guts over fear
    the godly flow- PK, DVE
    Even Eminem Singing -Twisted

I was pretty fine with it, 'some of the songs get stale after a while slaughterhouse really doesn't fit in-between Eminem songs, but yela was decent, and em had some really dope too. "Wanna try to meet my standards? ill introduce you"
enjoyed it overall, not the best by any means but not sure what you hate so much about it
horrible? why because it he was rapping fast? i loved the flow, and the rhymes were pretty neat, especially the part that goes
"You think you you got away, uh oh, not tday
murder you in a song and then ill just i was with dr dre and robert blake
eating lobster , steak and coffee cake , at a restaurant with drake
and tech just gotta make sure that out stories corroborate
Im alot to take, like kanye walking on the stage for beyonce
like its my job to say that your not a real artiste, but its my obligation
honest abe is on his way you will not escape........"
but yeah, best friend was awesome.

If calm down is a good verse then what exactly was wrong with detroit vs everybody or Physchopath killer verses? because both those verses (and best friend) sounded better to me?

There's a difference between frequency and consistency.Wayne's style is a bit less monotone than eminem's overtechical style, and wayne's rapping is laid back and fun, so modern beats suit him alot better musically and is something you can listen to without having to pay much attention. That said, apart from SFtW2, i haven't really been that impressed with majority of the mixtapes, and since 2010 wayne has alot
IMO per project eminem has ALOT more quality than wayne. because even where he flops musically, there is at least some lyrical merit. Some wayne mixtapes, have nothing at all but random words put together. Apart from the fact that the wayne mixtapes are sometimes literally him just taking other people's s--- and making a lazy remix. or some repetitive semi-freestyle .

h---: The Sequel could've been better. It was fun, but it wasn't classic material. Welcome 2 h--- & The Reunion were great, but besides that...it was :emeh:

    Relapse did s---.

The real reason he doesn't release a mixtape every six months is his greedy manager Paul won't let him or tell him it's a bad idea. He's always trying to make a buck off him. Don't believe me? Do you see Wayne Or Kanye selling Brick's of their old house?

FWA was about as good as MMLP2. And we both know if C5 dropped, it would blow Relapse, Recovery & MMLP2 out of the water. The material we have heard from it, (Believe Me, Krazy, Dusse, Grindin, Smell Like Money on Collegrove) were the best Wayne has been since 2009.

Lyrics are nice, but in the end of the day, the most important aspect is the flow. I know you'll make some argument and say Eminem is using a weird flow to challenge himself, but it sounds like s--- and we all hate it. The s-----y flow wasn't on MMLP2, but it was all over Shady XV. I don't think it was on Southpaw except for Phenomenal. Wayne is just more enjoyable to listen to at this point.

Speedom was trash, it doesn't matter how he fast he was trying to go. The beat was terrible, and that surprised me coming from someone who really likes Tech N9ne's producer. Richie Havens and Eminem do not go together.

Do you remember when Em used to Rap with an effortless flow, had interesting content and used to be the talked about MC in the game? If he still did that, he could be like Jay now. But no, he chooses to rap "technically" and only appeal to his rappity rap fans. People hold old Em up to such a high standard because back then, he was unstoppable. Now he's like that Grandpa that you don't really wanna talk to on the phone. Wayne outs Em for still being consistent from a song to song basis, unlike Em.

My life would have been complete :hovcry:
Flow was effortless througout though and all the songs were fairly enjoyable
:kdotrly: y u wanna draw me out
    That's fair
No, mmlp2 was better, better highlights more depth.
Maybe? in every way except lyrically, because i tend to judge rapper's by their verses, and the verses in monster and baby lasted alot longer than krazy or believe me, but thats just me.
Then Panda>Kendrick discog and SS3>Islah, because flow right.
wut? what? the f---? what the actual f--- are you talking about? Each song on Shady XV had a different flow. Unless you think Vegas sounds like Guts over fear.
Ok, you don't like the beat, that's nothing to do with the verse or the flow or even f---ing Eminem himself. dafuq?
Eminem was always technical in his rapping. The difference is that in after he came back from drugs he had to reteach himself to rap, and his voice changed. It is as you say him trying to be perfect, but then its lacks the organic feel he used have with the technique , as you say 'effortless'. I really just pay attention to the verses, which when you do, he becomes that much easier to listen to, and it is unique in his control when he raps like that, sometimes overdone but other times a fine display of skill imo.
Maybe in conforming to the typical standards as to how flow should sound (to you), he like's being different anyways, which isn't a bad thing (see forever verse). AS for the lyrics, and the actual content, wayne honestly does nothing more than throw around 1 liners nowadays. this Goes for C5 as well, which tbh, all of the songs so far had less content than rap god.
