    Less competition. Nobody in the UK heard of NBA young boy that’s for sure. At least not over the age of 12. Not sure why this guy so popular with the American kids but seems like he sold double Em’s compilation over there. I just know him as a meme from r-----ed twitter accounts

    I only like one song by him and think he's overrated as f---, but it's a new album vs a greatest hits of a not so great decade by Em. Dude stopped having hits 4 years into last decade. And we all know the sales that matter are the US ones.

    And what we consider promo here isn't much, we just used to nothing at all so it feels like something when it's just IG posts and a podcast only big Em fans might check since he's not even a part of it yet.

    I bought the CD, but I honestly never streamed this since I prefer to stream his albums instead and I don't find the new songs replayable anyway.

    Sike this not even an album, so who cares. It was pretty stupid for them to drop a greatest hits album. Only would’ve been cool if he dropped this under a different name

    Lmfao. I mean it's a greatest hits album in the streaming era but still. 43K is pathetic for Em. This is what happens when you're lazy with little promo/activity over the last 4 years. I remember the MMLP2 marketing getting everyone hype for the album. Concerts the summer of '13 keeping his name out there, commercials, tv performances, radio interviews, online interviews, magazine covers, etc. I don't get what's wrong with his team.
    Get him out there on a few podcasts, couple radio interviews and tv performances so people outside of his core base knows he is dropping.

    Greatest hits release is a long term strategy.
    So why tf would they spend so much money on marketing on something that’s a collection of already released music? For some first week boosting? Not worth it considering there’s no hype behind releasing something that’s already out
