May 5, 2015 I think it has a lot to do with the way you're brought up. I was brought up that skin color didn't make a difference and I never thought it ever mattered. The only skin I ever cared about was that kind that was extra crispy.

May 5, 2015 I think you mean you're inexperienced with certain social dynamics. There is white privilege, across the world, to varying degrees depending on the specified demographic. For example, white people are usually in places where most people are also white. Black people, unless they are institutionally isolated in ethnic ghettos, are usually the minority in most situations. Living in a visually oriented society, this can have devastating effects on self development and identity. There is also racial bias at every corner with Whites usually being preferred over black and brown people. White culture in the United States has been normalized so that it is the culture that immigrants assimilate too. This also creates a climate of internalized oppression for those who are not included in the normative's narrative. Another example is public schooling is funded through property taxes; the majority racial group in higher income areas is White so in result, they are privileged to a higher quality education. This all plays into the institutionalized racism that plagues the American and global systems. But i guess i'm a f--- boy. dumbass

May 5, 2015 No one is blaming white people. White people don't choose to be white. They are just born. Just like everyone else. The institutions are the real subject of the discussion. The various institutions and systems of our society are built to consolidate power in one very specific demographic. This demographic is called the transnational capitalist class (at least in some circles) and its overwhelming composed of White people. This is the top 1%. Now, if you live in a society where the power is constantly being consolidated into this very specific demographic, there will be white privilege inadvertently. It is a prerequisite to the current climate of our society. The part about "Lil shaquita" - this only highlights your ignorance and re-----tion.
