When the 2nd amendment was written, all that was known were guns and cannons. The idea is that civilians actually had a chance to own equal force weapons. The 2nd amendment did not know anything about Air strikes and tanks...etc...we can no longer defend ourselves against the government.

Did he suggest to rid of all guns? Is that what you heard him say last night? No, it wasn't. He didn't specify exactly what he meant, but I'm assuming what he meant was to enforce stricter laws and outlaw high powered weapons that seem to be the choice of mass murders. It seems a very few amount of people actually realize that no matter how many high powered weapons you own, none of them are going to actually save your life someday. If the government wants to k--- you, they will do it in other ways that your amazing guns will have no chance to defend against. Examples: they could k--- us with food, diseases, air strikes, tanks, water....you name it. Please argue with me how your gun is going to save you from the government again?

Relapse is actually one of his best aged albums imo...? Definitely aged better than Recovery. SSLP/MMLP encapsulate an era of pop culture that we are way ahead of. TES is pretty timeless but has several political moments that don't connect as well anymore. Encore is just bizarre idk. MMLP2 I think ages well, but we need to give it several more years to see.

But Relapse, man, I think it was Royce or maybe Mr. Porter who said in an interview before it came out that "the world isn't ready" or "Relapse is ahead of its time" and I mean maybe those are a little dramatic statements but to a degree it feels kind of true, especially how Relapse has only been getting more love as time goes on and more of his creative endeavors fall by the wayside. Maybe the world really wasn't ready for Relapse. Maybe it was a gift we didn't fully appreciate until we had the hindsight to see that Eminem wasn't going to be as clever or creative again. The production was never going to be as clean and banging. Never as visceral and in your face. I dunno where I'm going with this but I'm just f---in bored at work so gimme a break
