May 7, 2018 They both had their moments. Em had some amazing verses on that. And Royce had the worst. That 'Lighters' verse is just... So bad.
May 8, 2018 Em fans overrate the s--- out of Royce. Em definitely had some terrible moments on HTS, in terms of lines... as far as the whole Recovery/HTS writing period goes. But almost none of Royce's punches connect lol, they may not be as absurdly bad as some of Em's but it's like he's just Em-lite but NOTHING connects. At times he can keep up rhyming or flow wise but he says s--- with no impact. Em is way better on HTS.

May 9, 2018 Above the Law immediately came to mind for this. Royce delivers so many lines so aggressively like it is supposed to sound hard or intimidating but its just like... lol ?? ? "What yall messin with is a n----- thatll leave you FUBAR!!!!!! f----- UP beyond all recognition, yall are rockstars I'm the opposite, I could just throw a rock and hit a star, for the FOCK OF IT" Yeah Eminem is yelling the whole time but his lines have more bite to them, somehow the energy made more sense.
May 10, 2018 Lool. Yeah his lines are weak as f---. Even though Recovery/HTS Em is corny as s--- compared to say... (mostly) MMLP2 era Em, his lines still pack a punch some of the time. "Law? f--- protocol, I'd holla at this ho, but now my throat is sore" That always cracks me up. Never get tired of him overdoing his woman hate s---. But yeah... people seem to rate Royce, like, modern Royce better than old day Royce. I understand he's a better rapper with more ability - rhyming wise, flow wise etc. but 90% of his lines since... I can remember are just terrible lol. Old day Royce had CLASSIC punches.
