Feb 9, 2018 Everyone seems to be doubting em being able to come up with an album on tour. Does no-one remember he wrote recorded and produced “The Way I Am” the night before the mmlp dropped?
Feb 9, 2018 yeah no, he recorded that one right before he did the real slim shady which was the last song he did for mmlp (no neither that one was done the night before the album dropped). he wrote the way i am at Kim's parent's house tho if you want to give out a fun fact about the song.
Feb 9, 2018 Even if this was true, he's not the same as he used to be. All doubters are more than justified
Feb 9, 2018 Maybe I’m off on songs. But I’ve seen a fun fact somewhere about 1 of his singles that he did do that the night before the album dropped. Could have swore it said the way I am.
Feb 9, 2018 but like, dont u know how impossible that would be? from the printing of the cd's to the shipping of them s--- takes time.. not to mention that the first single is released way before the album drops so yeah no
Feb 9, 2018 The replay value on this album is truly awful for me unfortunately. I played MMLP2 & Shady XV a lot more than Revival when they first came out. I probably even played Rap God more before MMLP2 came out than I have for all the songs on Revival overall lol Safe to say I’m pretty disappointed, especially after a 4 year wait. Half the album is scattered with amateur-like, lifeless beats but then you’ve got classic tracks like Believe, Castle & Arose which are up there with some of his best...it’s just weird when we know what he’s capable of Quite underwhelming overall and the lack of promo behind it just makes this era very strange How hard is it to get Em to rap over some proper f---ing hip-hop beats? Regardless of what your lyrics are like, if you’re rapping over a s--- beat with a s-----y pop-singer on the chorus you’re already losing when people haven’t even heard the song yet On a brighter note, I managed to get standing tickets for London as well — would love to hear Believe played in a stadium full of 80,000+ fans
Feb 9, 2018 was waiting for your review bro. Totally agree with you. To me It's like half of the album is garbage & the other is ok/great. Believe, Castle and Arose top-3 songs for me. River the only pop/rap collab i like on this album. Tragic Endings executed way better that i expected too. The thing is everyone of us still have hopes just from the Chloraseptic Remix. Eminem sounded hungry af, I hope the negative reviews and criticism makes him drop a classic project before he retires, can only hope
Feb 9, 2018 You are confusing that with the night before the album's deadline for the label. You aren't making a song the night before an album drops...least not with Eminem. Especially, back in the day....the stores already have the CD prior to that....
Feb 9, 2018 I have faith bro. He sounded pissed on the Chloraseptic Remix & we all know that’s when he records his best s---. Need Dre producing the beats and not just coming in at the mixing stage. That pic of them both gives me hope
Feb 9, 2018 Yeah but is he going to be pissed for a whole album? I'd bet he got it out in that verse, I doubt it's going to fuel passion for a whole album. And even if it did, he'll work with bs collaborators and try to give us this that and the rest again and it'll be a mess. He's incapable of making a consistent album now.
