But it's more so just the eye-rolling formula of it, again. - Spacey vague hook about love - Pop-rock beat with big clap - Firey Em verses about relationship bla bla bla It's so pathetically desperate and unambitious. Create a new fkn sound and stop looking for hits or broad appeal ffs.

Apr 7, 2018 I think this is one of the few good songs in revival. Even though the song sounds cliche, the chorus by skylar is cool and em flows on the beat decently. I also love how the song segues into framed. That's cool. Overall, it's a pretty good song. I like this one compared to river. Though content-wise, river was better.

Apr 7, 2018 I don't think so. I think everything on Revival was made for it. You can tell by the writing that the song isn't from 2010/11. He's just imitating the sound, just like with Framed / Relapse. He can do whatever sound he wants, just a shame he chose to do them all, on 1 album. And ones we've heard before.
