I think what's so irritating about Em is he could be at least good today if he just changed a few things not working. Like focusing on the material or the content, rather then how the material is spit flow-wise, or getting BETTER PRODUCTION. The production on MMLP2 suffers from being outdated and corny sounding. His voice is fine, and his lyrics would be fine as well, if he didn't have at least one cringe line every track.

I usually try not to respond to this type of stuff but I got 20 minutes till sb picks me up

    - Probably the greatest lyricist of all time
    - Extremely versatile when it comes to flows, cadences, rhymes
    - Wide range of topics/ subject matter
    - One of the most vivid storytelling abilities in Hip Hop
    - Ability to trigger emotions with his art like many others can't
    - Longevity / Having people excited for him after 17 years

Yeah, bro. There's nothing well-rounded about him. We both know what this is about, we're just dancing around it. Leave your forum bubble for a minute and actually talk to people or at least listen to what heavyweights have to say about him.

    Em's discography is very inconsistent

But MMLP and TES will always hold a special place

Between his popularity and highs once held, I wouldn't worry about him being taken off lists

agree with the bold to an extent.
There are soooo many rappers that will literally get a "hot beat" and say random s--- on it and people overrate them cos they put out music consistently.
People like Future kinda falls into that but when he makes a standout song its usually a great song. My only problem with him is he is boring af after a while, same s---

So pretty much your arguments are is that just because some rappers said nice things about him, that makes him the greatest lol

I try not to listen to this kind of music
It seems that the rapper has some kind of mental dysfunction.

Ok I can get that ideology. Thread comes off as if you're treating Em's legacy different

But yeah, that's the case with anything though not just musicians-- say you have a top 5 basketball players all time due to their accomplishments and stats, and they all retired...
you got some up and coming players raking in stats and awards, you could see the top 5 dropping to future stars

anyone who isn't consistently adding to their top 5 repertoire is in danger of dropping out of it. and no one can rap/play forever.

We may be talking 10 years from now after Kenny dropped 3 or 4 more classics like 'Yeah Pac and Big where good, but that was before the world was introduced to the King of all Rap K.dot' you see

    who knows
