Jan 30, 2017 Yes. Physical copies being shipped to store prior to release date means your album is likely to leak by 99.9%. The other 0.01% is on the off chance that everybody who has the chance to steal a copy decides to not leak the album. Making it a digital release first means the album won't leak before the release date unless there are people hacking emails and s---. People will still be able to download it illegally though due to the people who bought the digital copy uploading it to the internet
Jan 30, 2017 On some other s--- though, I listened to the full interview of Big Sean on Zane Lowe and they were talking about why the No More Interviews track isn't on the album. Sean said that artists are restricted to only putting a certain number of tracks on an album due to their contract. And if they want extra songs on their album then the artist has to pay money to the label to allow them more tracks on the album itself. I didn't know this and it sounds so f---ing ridiculous.
Jan 30, 2017 I think it's the publisher tbh publisher allows 11 tracks I think. and charges label for more
Jan 30, 2017 Just a few videos from the album listening party last night. No full songs are out and once again, this isn't going to leak.
Jan 30, 2017 Yeah I heard that one too but as a guy who has knowledge about cds and stuff. A cd is 700 mb. U can make a mp3 disc filling all the space but albums are audio cds which means they work with time. Megabytes don't matter in a audio cd. Audio cd can be filled 80 mins. So as long as he doesn't exceed 80 mins in an album I don't see the point of limiting the number of songs in an album. The money label is gonna spend won't change. Actually having more track seems even better. I don't really see the point of limitation in number of songs. Do anyone know the logic behind it ?
Jan 30, 2017 Those No Favors sweats are like a proof for the song is gonna be released as a single. I think we'll be getting No Favors tomorrow or smh before the album drops.
Jan 30, 2017 Kinda hard to judge whether that's Eminem or Big Sean or another guy. Quality is so low.
