Jul 19, 2019 Speechless at this verse, he f---ing spazzed & sounds so hungry again People really don’t appreciate how Eminem has been in the game for over 20 years & he is STILL improving at rapping. He’s got infinite flows, rhymes, punchlines etc. He’s well ahead of anyone ever in terms of actual rapping, regardless of what you think of song/album making ability. He’s the greatest rapper to touch a mic. He still blows people away after this many years
Jul 19, 2019 agree with you for me this verse is like a glimpse into his career flow-wise. He starts mellow, continues with a MMLP-esque sang bridge, then steps it up a bit, even throws some stop-and-go rap in the way... then he switches to the rappidty-rap from the last decade. Very complete and complex verse overall.
Jul 19, 2019 Yeah, but I think of the rappers I slayed and buried like every night And every career I might've killed, sometimes I say a prayer and I Wonder is there a heaven for a G? And if so, is the sanctuary nice? Studios for rap like Coolio, shootin' craps at gangster's paradise s--- the way he connects those songs making one atmosphere and "place"
Jul 19, 2019 Song was dope. I agree with people that the last few bars are a bit unnecessary but it doesn't take away from the verse. I love the effect he had on his voice at one point. Really reminded me of Kendrick. Em is on a good roll for giving solid verses, hopefully hear him applying this to his solo music in the near future, fingers crossed.
Jul 19, 2019 Wow did not expect that. I’m into it. Did he throw shots at Meek Mill? Would love to see that play out. Conway nice too
Jul 19, 2019 Nah he shouted Meek Mill out, shots primarily at old targets such as Cannibus and Ja Rule as well as calling Iggy a b---- (her album released today lol) and shots once again at Charlamagne, he also mentions P!nk and Nicki but in a joking way making sexual references
Jul 19, 2019 Yeah this Same way he said compare me to daz. Basically he’d rather be compared to meek and daz than iggy or fake rappers
Jul 19, 2019 Bruh MMLP2 was 6 years ago get over it, the album was good in its own way we are in a completely new Eminem era right now
