Mar 29, 2020 Eminem being able to release Relapse and Recovery in the space of ?12 months was astonishing. Both great albums in their own right. LTWYL, No Love, Goin’ Thru Changes, Cinderella Man, So Bad... Relapse, Recovery and Kamikaze all had something really consistent about them
Mar 29, 2020 Recovery era was as big as his biggest years. Love The Way You Lie was huge as f--- and so was Not Afraid. Even the songs he didn't release as a single were very popular. It sold like crazy ww. And he has nominated for 10 f---in Grammy's lol. He was definitely huge. So Em was everywhere in Recovery era too but he didn't wanna be unlike in his prime years. That was the main reason that era didn't last longer and maybe didn't feel like he was as big as he was in his prime. Btw, I like Recovery but I hated it at first for some time. GTC is dope as f--- but you overrate it. He had Castle & Arose which easily topped GTC. As for 5 song stretch, maybe I can agree but the thing is I don't even wanna listen to any of those songs anymore. All in all, I never really underrate Recovery at all. It's at least 7/10 album for me but it's not as good as MTBMB as an whole album. It's nowherre as impressive as Kamikaze (as far as the rapping goes).

Mar 29, 2020 Lol I genuinely forgot that it exists. Gone is the M Solo Stan of the late 00s to say the least. Anyhow it's down at the bottom with Murder Music and BME. No need to rank those three as they are all forgettable trash. It's true. There isn't a single song I wanted to revisit and honestly there were only a handful I listened to the whole way through.
