Nov 19, 2016 Lmao I didn't listen because I was like f--- lame remixes but then I saw people like @BigCountry (who usually don't like eminem) call it great, gonna check this out.
Nov 19, 2016 Makes me wonder if the bass brothers are the reason eminems sound is struggling to replicate his older stuff. Its starting to become evident that they had chemistry which he cannot replicate with out engineers and producers. Why doesn't he choose to work with them anymore is beyond me...
Nov 19, 2016 Idk if they still do but when when was sobering up I they were still using so I assume he wanted to seperate himself from that environment... And just never went back Probably the same situation with d12 honestly
Nov 19, 2016 Ah fair enough, I honestly feel like that could've easily been fixed by him not being there during their creative process... its not like we dont have the internet (skype etc..) and if thats the case... its a weak excuse on his behalf tbh. I guess we can only hope that this new remix is an indicator they're working again
Nov 19, 2016 I get not being around during the sobering up but it's been almost 10 years since they've parted ways I'm not an addict so I don't know how the temptations are but if he were to relapse I think it would've happened by now, no? Honestly I don't think email would be good for bass and Eminem. For the song to be the best it can be they need to be together bouncing ideas off of each other. That's how we got those early classics. Em is too secluded nowadays
Nov 19, 2016 Even more of a reason to collab... 10 years sober would definiltey prove hed be okay in those situations. h--- hes okay with rapping about it, in detail too. Also, we dont know if has ever relapsed which is another thing i guess we gotta look at. The dude has addictive behavior so god knows what hes done. I feel like theres a little more to why he doesnt work with them anymore and yeah your probably right bout the whole email thing, we've heard those outcomes (features in 2014...lol) That really seems to be the problem, dude doesnt want to retire but hes so secluded he cant even keep up with what going on (although i do believe for sure he uses the internet, i dont buy int that BS at all that he doesnt even know how to use a computer or any of that!) I think if hes working with the bass brothers, now, because they're perfectionists, we might get a more refined sound from his previous experimental stuff post shady XV.
Nov 19, 2016 I think the reason Love Game ended up being one of the best songs on MMLP2 was because Kendrick and Eminem actually worked together in the studio as opposed to emailing between camps
Nov 19, 2016 Don't front=people like it and it should of been on mmlp2. Infinite remastered=people like it and want the whole album remastered. Maybe Em should really release a new album with beats that have a 90's feel to it.Or elements of 90's rap music in 2016 beats.
Nov 20, 2016 As someone who listens to Infinite pretty often, this is f---ing amazing. I hope em has some slower mellow production like this on his new album... Even though I doubt it'll happen.
Nov 20, 2016 no ,the lawsuit was between bass bros and interscope, the whole beef was never 100% clear to begin with.was Eminem involved or not? em was signed to bass first, so was em also getting ripped off by interscope??? was em and paul letting interscope rip off bass? a lot of unanswered questions.
Nov 20, 2016 Yeh i think your not far off, i dont think eminem has a issue with them, just interscope may have which stops them working together. I am not sure though so maybe wrong.
Nov 20, 2016 I don't think he has bad blood between them. They came together in 2008/2009 to produce Beautiful.
Nov 20, 2016 The Honorable Ronald M. Whyte will preside over the case of F.B.T. Productions LLC et al v. Aftermath Records et al. A source close to the situation spoke with HipHopDX to clear up false reports that Eminem initiated this lawsuit against Universal, which is the distributor of both Aftermath and Eminem‘s Shady Records imprint. “It’s these two guys that had Em way before he signed to Aftermath,” the source explains. “Neither Eminem nor anyone in his camp is associated with them in any way. The suit includes Universal because they distribute Aftermath, but Em wants to make sure everyone knows he’s not involved in this.”
Nov 20, 2016 Ok, I got the full story: Em2M is owned by Joel Martin, who also operates Eminems publishing company, 8 Mile Style. F.B.T. signed Eminem to an exclusive artists recording agreement in 1995. Three years later, F.B.T. signed an agreement with Aftermath Entertainment, agreeing to furnish Aftermath the exclusive services of Eminem. Eminem also signed an agreement acknowledging and approving the deal between F.B.T. and Aftermath, in order for Dr. Dre to obtain Eminems exclusive services. The rapper then assumed all of F.B.T.s obligations to Aftermath and Aftermath then assumed all of F.B.T.s obligations to Eminem. The lawsuit claims that all parties agreed that F.B.T. would remain an income participant in all future releases by Eminem and that royalties earned from Eminems releases would be paid to F.B.T., Martins Em2M and Eminem. The most important point: The Michigan-based companies claim that the labels erroneously charged certain productions costs and other expenses to them, when they should have been billed directly to Eminem. so that probably pissed off Eminem and as bitter as he is known to be ,he for sure hasn't forgotten them for this. they basically asked em for $$$ owed and em/paul refused to pay so they sued interscope and dre.( a lawsuit that they won).
