    you have no idea what it'd be. no Em solo sounds the same, so what makes you think it will this time?

    this is really confusing. Em is literally not involved in this movie at all give or take a few songs... this amount of promotion makes no f---ing sense

    Exactly, no Em solo is the same, and he didn't use the choppy flow on MMLP2. His current records all have it, I don't see why if he was working on an album at the same time they wouldn't either. I could use a year break from new Eminem. I think he needs it more than I do too as much as I love the guy.

    SSLP and MMLP are a year apart. They sound nothing alike.

    Relapse and Recovery are a year apart. They sound nothing alike.

    He hasn't released a solo since MMLP2 two years ago. It's entirely possible and plausible to think that his next album will sound different.

    You guys really thought Marshall would let this OST bomb without any promo like ShadyXV.. At this point we can't really doubt what @Koolo said about Roots.. I honestly feel it went under even tighter wraps label wise once news spread that he was recording a new Lp.

    This is true, but all I'm saying is since most of his records in the past year (which if he did release an album is when he recorded too) had choppy flow. I would just rather wait and be sure. But I see your perspective too

    I get what you're saying, but most of the features after Recovery were the yelling Recovery flow. His features usually reflect his previous album. but idk. you're right, we'll have to wait and see.

    Given the recent NY Times interview, it seems he's at least cognizant people aren't really feeling the fast flow or the choppy stop and go s---, hopefully we finally see a true return to form. I don't know what else he could do at this point but resort to an older style, something he knows works. I complain about his delivery as much as anyone and even though his delivery has been mostly misses in my book since his hiatus, I respect that he's always switched it up every album. I really think The Warning is the best delivery/flow we've heard since TES, just f---ing do that...his random bs lines would be more tolerable if he didn't sound like s--- half the time.
