Jul 3, 2015 I think so. I think if he left Detroit and traveled, Tried new things, party'd with people he didn't know, did things he had never done. We could have a classic. He's running out of topics so doing new things/adventuring/giving his life a shot of adrenaline could really help. He's made improvements and taken steps back with each album. Now he just needs to put it all together. I also think it all depends on who he works with. No yes men producers. Who he works with really does count. Artists and producers. For his next album I think he should work with Dre/Bass Brothers/Kanye. Do most of the album with the Bass Brothers. Give us that classic Em sound. Have Kanye take him out of his comfort zone and do seomthing really different for a track or two. Have Dre do a track or two and executive produce the album. Pick features wisely. The only singers I would like would be Sia, Lana Del Rey, Adelle, Or Gwen. And only one pop singer on the album, no more. Maybe do a sequel track like b---- please 3. Do it with Dre/Snoop/Xzibit. Work with the best of the new school. Kendrick/Cole/Joey/Chance/Logic. And fix the flow. TES flow and your golden. Put all that together and we have a classic album. So long as its executed well.
Jul 3, 2015 It's like... Even if it'd only 35-40 seconds at a time... He remembers how to rap to a beat Still tho on the solo he's gonna need to chill the f--- out squeezing 85 words into 15 seconds ruins the song 90 percent of the time. Keep the overly technical rapping to a minimum and you're golden.
Jul 3, 2015 I'll be honest, I wrote Em off after Shady XV. Fine Line was good for me but I couldn't fool myself to like the rest. His inaudible flow just put me off trying to hear what he's saying. The Lose Yourself demo (GOAT track) just showed me how much Em is now a shadow of his former self. Can honeslty say he's really impressed me with this one, its like he's got the energy back from out of f---ing nowhere... Incredible. I hope Roots has that same drive and effort they put in this song. Haven't been excited for Em in a long time. So I put this hashtag with a lot of hope and love in my heart. Don't let us down kid. #2015Marshall
