The entire internet thought Space Bound was "a club joint with Jay-Z" Nah actually guys it's a story song like Stan about suicide. Small potato.

Dre drops a 4th album. Small potato.

Literally NOBODY on this site thought an album was coming this year after October and rightfully so.. However I pop up and say no it's this month when hype was at an all-time low. Small potato.

Absolutely false and my posts that day back it up.

And let's not forget that when you were claiming you were going to buy Recovery the entire board clowned you but I believed in you and you were subsequently vetted and modded immediately. Why? Because I had that kind of power there and it wasn't because I "faked having connections." Love you bro but you're way off base.

Bottom line- 12 days ago this thread was 493 pages when I posted the album was coming. There wasn't exactly a hype train that I just jumped on and then guessed about a December release and got lucky. 500+ pages though and here we are. Big coincidence though for sure!

I absolutely hate the mentality that something is only either classic or trash. Middle-ground exists.

I see this with MMLP2 all the time — there are really great songs & some poor ones; there are some incredible bars (a lot—his writing on this was the sharpest of his career) & some poor, cringey ones.

When you consider the title & the fact it was a sequel to MMLP, yeah it’s disappointing but that doesn’t mean it’s automatically trash lmao.

Bad Guy, Rhyme Or Reason, Legacy, Rap God, Brainless, Evil Twin, Groundhog Day, Beautiful Pain & Don’t Front are all very, very good.

I’ll always defend MMLP2. And when I say the album is good, it doesn’t mean I think it’s a classic, nor does it mean I think every song is good. There can be terrible, terrible songs on a good album — and vice versa — great songs on a terrible album, see: Believe, Castle, Arose, & Walk on Water on Revival. I think it’s an insult to put MMLP2 & Revival on the same level.
