    i WILL say, em has always been so earnest or forced on these albums especially the post relapse ones. that these two are maybe his most playful, or naturally musical or something since SSLP.

    I agree with you there, that's why they're his best post-hiatus efforts cuz they feel like Marshall Mathers being himself and having fun instead of Rap Robot.

    again, absolutely not lol. He's never been better or sounded more effortless than 98-01. That doesn't mean he doesn't sound great in some portions of this but come on lol

    yeah i mean its always define ur terms, whats ur criteria for ranking these. overall, i still think the first three stand alone. then relapse. then maybe this MTBMB series??????? then everything else.

    (i could consider shifting mmlp or tes down a notch depending on my mood.)

    I think it doesn't count as a new album, it's just a deluxe edition for MTBMB, which has length like an album though.
