Dec 18, 2020 Eminem production underrated. He is no Madlib, J.Dilla, Alc or Dre but yeah, he knows his s--- well. Also his sheer charisma makes it easy to enjoy a song with basic trap beats.
Dec 18, 2020 I did grow up in that era. I'm 33. And that's precisely the reason I can't rate SSLP that high anymore: Because I'm 33. If you still think the same way you did when you were 12, there's something wrong with you.
Dec 18, 2020 Same here! Most of the times i dont mind, but sometimes you want him to keep the same style / longitivety of verses the whole song.
Dec 18, 2020 Sorry but this album is absolute dog s---! What’s with all the beat stopping and starting crap on so many songs like Alfred’s Theme, Book Of Rhymes, Tone Deaf etc that s--- is embarrassing and laughable! Discombobulated is easily the best track on the album, god knows why he didn’t keep that same flow for the entire album. Dre was great on Guns Blazing. The fact that so many of you on here think he is better now than he is ever been is hilarious. Is it really too much to ask for an Em album without the beat stop starting sh-- and the ‘yeah! at the start of every track? 2 or 3 good tracks out of 16, rest is crap.
Dec 18, 2020 Chill man I like it. songs like leaving heaven, in too deep, godzilla and farewell remind me of revival (also the those kind of night hook) then we have songs like Unaccommodating and Marsh that sound like Kamikaze. But yeah I think B sounds more like Kamikaze.
Dec 18, 2020 Doubt it tbh. He doesn't seem to be slowing down. If it gets to the stage where he hasn't dropped in like 2/3 + years I think it'll be a retirement album. Otherwise he's probably going to keep making music while he can at this level and get this kinda reception for it
Dec 18, 2020 What does age have to do with it? Honest question. You can like things when you are young and old..no need to not like things because you are getting older.
