Dec 18, 2020 I didn't say I don't like SSLP. What I meant was, at 33 I take it for what it is, a funny album that was crafted to do one job: Shock people.
Dec 18, 2020 Music isn't about pc culture and logical s--- like that. The album was f---in hilarious - legendary - sick rhymes. So many memories from that era with this music in the background it's what kicked everything off. There is no rap album out there like it and there never will be. Is it less relatable to some of us now? Sure. Do I listen to it nonstop in 2020? No. We all can remember those days tho.
Dec 18, 2020 I’ll give it a B+ solid list Only low I can find for me is the Black Magic track but the 3rd verse is good obviously not as good as the top 3 but this plus side A Is definitely 4th best on my list. He sounds so confident and it’s nice. He finally figured out what he wants to do And isnt just appealing to the masses
Dec 18, 2020 Y’all need your ears testing this is absolute garbage! Side A is 10 times better than side B and it’s not even close. Time for Em to hang it up, this was clearly a rushed album and it shows big time!
Dec 18, 2020 I really like it for what it is. It feels a little bit like a side project like shady xv or southpaw where he tries to figure out where to go with his music.
Dec 18, 2020 Production on this is insane. Sometimes I miss whole rhyme schemes cuz I'm just vibing to the beat. And I'm a lyric listener not a production guy mainly. Also after the Dre track, I can't wait for Dre album. He's angry again.
Dec 18, 2020 Laugh all you want, this album is dog s---! The beat stop starting on so many tracks and the ‘yeah’ at the start of most tracks are embarrassing and cringe!
Dec 18, 2020 Erm they don’t s--- on his masterpieces like SSLP,MMLP and TES because still to this day they’re masterpieces! We s--- on garbage like he has just released. This side B is an embarrassment.
