Dec 19, 2020 i thought book of rhymes would be something it wasn't. especially when i saw the premier ft and the fact alchemist is close with em. i was expecting an em version of this: instead it didn't really do that concept at all, even though he suggests that's what it'll be in the hook. i was hoping for old verses i guess
Dec 19, 2020 I fully agree with this. Its not what I expected from the title/samples/preemo spims and it seem to have some of the elements of its potential sprinkled in there for sure. And still even though it didnt it is still one of the best songs on the album

Dec 19, 2020 They actually didn't talk about the album at all. Rory said Em should've just stick with the original MTBMB because it was actually good. A Side B wasn't needed. Joe said he didn't listen to it, as I predicted. Mal said he didn't listen to it. And then they focused on the Snoop V Em part for a little bit. It's clear that since Joe hates Em, the rest of the team hates Em now too and even if they OBVIOUSLY listened to the album, they pretend they didn't because they want to give Em as little spotlight as they possibly can.

Dec 19, 2020 In regards to the Snoop lines, I really don't think it has anything to do with not being in his top 10. It's just the fact that they're from the same camp, and he talked down about Eminem completely unprovoked. If Charlamagne asked Snoop if Eminem was in his top ten and he said "no" I highly doubt Eminem would be offended.
Dec 19, 2020 The offensive part of Snoop's comment is the fact that he said "I can live without Em's music" and that "Em wouldn't have been successful without Dre". THAT was offensive. Not the fact that Em isn't in his Top 10.
