Dec 19, 2020 He changed something in his writing after Revival imo. It can't only be about motivation and backlash. He feels the beat and his writing fits in perfectly. Before Revival we always used to say that it seemed like he was writing acapellas and was putting the beat after laying his verse. Listen to Higher or FB, he uses the beat and completes it with his flows.
