Dec 21, 2020 I honestly can’t believe how good this album is. Just listened through for the first time while reading along with the lyrics and the writing is just on another level. Bad reviews are hysterical, I feel bad for people who can’t enjoy this (probably never enjoyed Em in the first place)

Dec 21, 2020 "Favourite b----" last verse is brilliant too. I don't like the song at all. But that verse is great. Some of the flows and delivery on this album are off the charts, like... taking rap to new heights level good. Book of Rhymes is just absurd though. What he's actually saying, the flow/delivery sounds as natural as he's sounded since 2000, yet it's still insanely dense, and new flow patterns. Instant classic.

I hate these kinds of hooks when Em uses them, they do not sound right with his music, and ESPECIALLY this song. It's hard hitting content, then you got thiis rnb sounding crooning hook. f----- up a potentially 10/10 song for me. "Ooh I say a line people are outraged!", that is straight off of the actual mmlp level x delivery.
