Dec 25, 2020 Watch them blame the pandemic. They could still drop it next year. One can only hope But I don't expect new music at all. Just a 20 year anniversary collectors edition.
Dec 25, 2020 I agree sadly. But a video for Killer would have been a very fresh move for Em. I think it'd have helped the numbers going up for sure.
Dec 25, 2020 Yet you think a song like higher - which is basically just a generic song about his ego is gonna help him. Smh I'm thankful that some of you arnt the ones calling the shots.
Dec 25, 2020 I expected some type of unreleased music from mmlp era. And they could have released it to Apple Music and spotify etc just like they did with Side B. Merch and s--- might have been scrapped but on the other hand they released several shirts and other pointless s--- throughout the years. I dont think they will blame it on anything though, probably just never mention it. Releasing it in 2021 would be weird, it’s no longer mmlp ”20” by then
Dec 25, 2020 I get your point, the music on sslp20 was pointless, but I thought they would actually release something on the anniversary of his biggest album, best selling rapalbum oat, bestseller of 2000 all genres, broke record after record, changed the game completely.. and then when they said ”later this year”, made fans text a number to get first access to the music once it dropped, i thought they were teasing us, no way they would do that for a f---ing the real slim shady acapella
Dec 25, 2020 Em said in an interview that the songs on MMLP were basically what he recorded for it. We havent even had as much as a snippet from that era lol.
Dec 25, 2020 You seem to live in Wonderland, and fail to realize this is a business. Perhaps Alice could explain to you why Higher would be the right move for Eminem at this point in his career.
Dec 25, 2020 Lmao I'm livingin wonderland? If anything YOUR living in wonderland if you think higher is the answer. Only a hardcore em fan would be into the theme of that song. Not to mention it's very generic when compared to past singles of his that he has released related to that subject matter. It's also an overdone gimmick from the recovery era that doesn't match up with how the public is seeing him right now. It's important to have the ability to see things from other people's pov and what he needs are songs those people can get into that still retain his flavor in some ways (like his bars/flow) over tracks that are catchy and in right now. I think gnat was a great choice but unfortunately because the subject tasteless to many it didn't do as well as it should of. There are much better choices for the next single imo.
