He gave us so many different styles, flows, voice tones, personas, etc throughout his career that now he has his own fanbase split between what kind of Eminem they want to hear. I guess it's way simpler when you are an artist like Jay-Z or Nas who have rapped the same way since they came out, basically. And the way I see it, most of the members hating on Eminem or the new album, signed up after the album was released. So they basically just signed up to hate on it. Makes 0 sense. I'm grateful for the new Eminem. I love the album.
Dec 27, 2020 I wasn't hating on Jay-Z or Nas. But their flow and the type of voice they use to rap with (it obviously sounds lower now because they are older, but you get what I mean) has been pretty much the same. Yeah they've improved in terms of rhyme schemes and production, but the rest sounds like the same.

Look at the reactions on YouTube for Gnat and then Higher and everyone f---s with Higher over gnat. Higher has a better beat, flow and classic Em lyrics.
