We’ve offloaded so many of our scarcity-driven problem solving capabilities to companies through our market economies that we can no longer survive without them. I guess that’s why as a society during covid, we have acted like nothing more than monkeys at certain points.
Jan 2, 2021 Agreed. Good point. We've gotten too comfortable. The power goes out then you realize you don't have TV, you don't have light, no oven, no fridge, no heat, no power to charge your phone etc.. We're just not used to that anymore.

One day this whole thing might blow up and who knows, we might have to go back to basic instincts in order to survive. Not speaking specifically about Covid but just in general. Technology, overpopulation, treating our environment like s---. This ought to blow up in our faces one day. Maybe not in our lifetime. But soon enough. Hope this makes sense. Just smoked a bucket.

Jan 2, 2021 it just was one little thing I never catched in all of those years, but doesn't change the fact that its a classic song. Side B is not bad music but it can't f--- with classic s--- like this. The whole writing, the beat, the energy, the voice s----s all over Side B. BTW Kamikaze Em had something of old Em just censored (Fall) and he took back things in interviews etc. So had Side A with songs like Stepdad and I Will. So shut da h--- up!

Jan 2, 2021 Don’t worry you’re making perfect sense! Many people have the theory that technology is actually our saviour, not our doom. That we can use all these computers & sensory technology to allocate resources efficiently, monitor & sustain our environment locally without the need for centralised governance. The idea of an “economy” is self sustainability, something we currently lack. Something as much as I believe is our future, our current one (empires/economic warfare etc) isn’t ending without a fight. We see proof of this from one of the many US military coups, in Chile this time, on September 11th, 1973. Salvador Allende attempted to install a similar centralised computing infrastructure along with other public infrastructure & immediately was overthrown & assassinated. Overpopulation is a myth, we have plenty of resources, just terrible management of them as the main implemented system is Capitalism, a market system that thrives on consumption (or over consumption). We haven’t got long to make our minds up on where we want to end up.
