Oct 21, 2020 I remember when MTBMB was released at 7AM i was on the 6AM-2PM shift and I had a small break exactly when It dropped. Went quickly in my manager's office and faked an injury better than f---ing Neymar to go home lol.
Oct 21, 2020 What were you guys doing when Kami & MTBMB dropped? When Kami dropped I was up at 5am for work so I got the tweet notification but I was still half asleep so thought I was dreaming lmao. Then I had to wait the whole day to listen to it, while staying off Twitter and section80 (it was torture) MTBMB was different because we were expecting the album more than Kamikaze, but I was still surprised to see it actually happen. It didn’t beat the excitement of Kamikaze though

Oct 21, 2020 When Kami dropped, I was actually here reading up on a few things, then I saw the Em forum explode. I think I was reading through the old anticipation thread as it happened. When MTBMB dropped, I was getting ready to walk my dog when I saw a YouTube notification for the "Darkness" video thinking it was a fake, renamed fan channel lol.
Oct 21, 2020 Yeah I remember first seeing the notification for Darkness video on my phone checked it and than I wanted to go back to work and I thought wait a minute let me take a look at Spotify cause dropping a surprise video made it seem like it had to be some more.
Oct 21, 2020 Both times I was just at home, but I remember when Kamikaze dropped I got a notification that Eminem went live on Instagram and it was just that video of the Kamikaze plane. I watched it for about 20 seconds then realized it must mean something so I checked Apple Music and there it was. The big difference between the two albums though, Kamikaze I was living alone and with MTBMB I was and am still living with my girlfriend. It made it a little harder to just sit down and listen to it with my headphones. That first listen is pretty important. I feel like I was more distracted with MTBMB and didn't appreciate it as much.

Oct 21, 2020 I knew the night before when the Venom teaser hit that the surprise drop insider info was legit so I was telling all my pals to expect an album, still hesitant to believe it on the low. I wake up about 11am on my day off work to like 10 texts from people spamming me about a new Em album lol Trying to avoid spoilers going through Twitter was nearly impossible due to the whole internet & music industry talking about it with the name drops & so forth. He really lit a fire with that project, Revival really was the calm before the storm lol Waited for my pals to come over, we passed some blunts & got straight to the music! Great day.
