Mar 12, 2021 Imo, Em should have followed the "direction" (writing style, flow, production and even guest hooks) of this song for the entirety Recovery.
Mar 12, 2021 Some of these leakers should band together to make a SFTL3. But that will probably only happen in dreams but you never know
Mar 12, 2021 I apologize can you spell out your point to me like I'm five so I know what I'm actually arguing lol
Mar 12, 2021 ‘The old Eminem’ that everyone roots for was actually already long gone after Encore came out.
Mar 12, 2021 Old Em now when he revisits it, is just meh. She Love Me and Discombobulated we’ve heard so many times before and done way better previously. We have heard the beats , hook and rehashed topic many times before. Both produced by Dre. Not musically pushing boundaries, playing it safe in my opinion when he succumbs to the fans wanting Em and Dre combo. Will never be brave enough again to try something different again like Relapse was so no point in hearing Em come up with Crack A bottle 2.0 or So bad 5.0.
Mar 12, 2021 Relapse is full of it, MMLP2 and XV had signs of it. But i'm past this that was like 5 hours ago
Mar 12, 2021 Id say Adventures Of Moon Man & Slim and Darkness are the only times he’s tried something relatively different lately. Iv still thoroughly enjoyed his latest music though, regardless of pushing boundaries or not.
Mar 13, 2021 Lmao so Melon loves the new NF songs but hates everything that Em releases. It’s getting ridiculous.
Mar 13, 2021 Nah. Em was falling off well before Trump even ran for president. If anything his music got better through Trumps presidency (2017 on)
Mar 13, 2021 I think I figured out ems problem. It’s his delivery lol Lyrics are usually fine. Not the best example but the song is much better with a better flow
Mar 13, 2021 His delivery is better than it's been in a long time. Definitely still not as good as it was in his early years though. It was flawless.
Mar 13, 2021 Yeah. Great point mate. He's gotten so perfectionist to the point that it started sounded unnatural. Don't get me wrong, I love MTBMB. But if he could go back to that type of voice, flow, diction and layering vocals, MTBMB could potentially have been perfect. It reminds me of Michael Jackson. Even though, for me, all of his songs are 10/10, he became so obsessed with perfection that he lost spontaneity and the inflections in his voice he used to do up until the album 'BAD'. To the point where he started to work on songs for 10 years and when he finally thought they were good enough to be released, the song had lost its essence.
