Mar 26, 2021 Em thought the same. All this conspiracy theories about Em making a bad album on purpose or that he was bored making it are bs. Em was excited about revival and felt very confident about it in the beginning. He was eager to promote it, did a lot of interviews, and so on. And he really believed that the general consensus would be that WOW is artistic heights, and the best thing since 4:44.that is why he made it the lead single and did it live that many times for TV.

WOW is a nice song, but a horrible single imo, he shouldn't have released a depressing first single for an album, it even sounds like Guts Over Fear, with the whole I'm done, I'm making the same song again and again,... That doesn't motivate me to listen to an Em album. Then tracks like Untouchable which is a good idea but it's unlistenable, the corny American anthem feat an Alicia that doesn't even feel like Alicia, horrible MMLP2 type of tracks like Offended, Heat or Remind Me, another Pink feat no one needed, he kicked 2 Chainz out of the album after seeing people excited he was working with a rapper, Framed, which is pretty much 3 AM but worse,... So many things were wrong with this album imo. I only enjoy River (which should have been the first single), Believe, WOW, Castle and Arose. And that's only 5 songs. He tried to make his 4:44. But 4:44 is ten times better than this.

His album coming soon, if you don't like it, don't listen. You just sound mad that people love his music.
