Apr 4, 2021 Why would it have even been true? Can someone enlighten me on when someone on this forum has ever known anything about insider information, expect the Koolo leaks back in the day?
Apr 4, 2021 I was but I can’t remember it being any different from usual disparity when it comes to Eminem whereas Revival was a complete majority.
Apr 4, 2021 @Xmipod said it's very early in production whether you believe him or not is up to you and I honestly don't want to have this stupid f---ing cyclical conversation about "credibility" again lmao
Apr 4, 2021 Also why did Eminem feel the need to do a dmx bark impression with a poodle bark? Em legit had the mind set of a 3rd grader as a person back then no wonder why he lied about his age in that Howard stern interview
Apr 4, 2021 I think a lot of people's issues with the album was it didn't really feel like a companion piece to the original MMLP and he admits himself he can't do that again because he's not the same person. I liked the Stan Sequel. I think Stronger Than I was is a response to Kim, So Much Better has a slowed down version of the Criminal beat and does sound like a MMLP track. Headlights addressing his Mother is a a nice touch and brings that story full circle. I think if Groundhog Day had made the album instead of Survival it would have felt a bit more complete. I think people weren't fans of Survival on there much like Wont Back Down on Recovery, they were songs used to promote the Call of Duty video games so why release them on the actual albums when we could have an entirely new song instead? I don't think the Rihanna feature worked at all and that is mainly down to the type of song. I think if there was a song similar to Drug Ballad where he could have had her do the hook it would be different. Other than that it's a great album, I think Groundhog Day should have made the album and I would have taken Survival off, I'm not a fan of a------ but I don't think anything else from the Deluxe Bonus CD or the song Don't Front would have fitted on the album. Shady XV is a whole other thing though. No doubt everything on there are MMLP2 leftovers and you can see where some songs may have been swapped out for others. That album is a great album to me. I don't see many people talk about it. I'm sure it wasn't called Shady XV originally but I like the title song where he just raps for 5 minutes on that Billy Squier My Kinda Lover sample and Vegas is great but the solo stuff like Fine Line and Right For Me shows he can still do the real Eminem type music, he sounds great on his own production. I think Psychopath Killer is a great song too, it would have sounded great on MMLP2 but I do think to make it work it would have to be Bizarre or some of the D12 members on it. That would have fit the MMLP2 theme perfectly. I would have swapped Love Game out for that.
Apr 4, 2021 He's a introvert. It's like that. The weird thing to me is hearing him talk back then lol you know what I'm saying?
Apr 4, 2021 I'm an introvert and I'm not a r----- out in public lol most introverted people tend to be shy not on the same level as a 9 year old but yeah even his talking was weird It's weird that that seem cringey guy was making MMLP
Apr 4, 2021 I think being a introvert just made him come as awkward. And we all know dude can be pretty childish lol
Apr 4, 2021 Eminem started to derail when he took himself so seriously he got pissed off about a puppet dog.
Apr 5, 2021 Rap fans don't like when he works with Rihanna, but she gave him two huge hits in the last decade. If there has to be a pop feat, it should be her since it works.
