Apr 15, 2021 He's definitely slowing down a little bit I still want to see him rap a bit slower like in the kid cudi song or lord above
Apr 15, 2021 Big agree it always feels somewhat fresh which is nice for someone who's been around for decades
Apr 15, 2021 Both great verses. He also raps fine on most songs on mtbmb except the 3rd verse on lots of songs. Still dunno why he does that lol who is he trying to impress? It sounds like s--- and we know already he can rap fast
Apr 15, 2021 Hol up, I love when he goes supersonic speed from time to time, especially GNAT. I will say this: I think GNAT after beat switch is Eminem's best piece of art he ever dropped, this is perfect, minimalistic beat, jazzy melody and that flow talking about usual Em s--- - I spazzed tf when I first heard it. Godzilla too, he broke Rap God record so... Or Majesty record... It's just rapper thing, rappers love to go off sometimes
Apr 15, 2021 Gnat was awful until the last part, then it became something special, but because of the 1st part, I don't listen to any of it.
Apr 15, 2021 I agree to an extent. Its cool, its impressive and nice when he does it like once or twice on an album. But he sounds SO MUCH BETTER (haha) when he just slows down. Gnat flow was fine, beat switch cool af but didn't need the fast s--- for me. And then he did it on godzilla, killer, favorite b----. But on most songs he was calm. Mtbmb is cool af to me still !
Apr 15, 2021 I don't entirely agree but see where ur coming from. Which songs would u call the peaks?
Apr 15, 2021 Never Enough Yellow Brick Road Like Toy Soldiers Spend Some Time We As Americans Them cuts are still replayable to this day without feeling stale, considering Side B has been out for a few months & has lost a lot of its replay value, can you imagine how it will sound in 17 years from now for a comparative perspective?
Apr 15, 2021 Encore's peaks were so cool, but Em was at his peak back then. Side B also has some pretty good tracks though.
