    Marsh Rosi Season Coming

    Nov 20, 2020
Drake is the biggest selling rapper right now. Him, Post and Kendrick I guess.

He can just drop any other month and have another number 1 album.

You act like it would be cool for Em to flop just cause he sold a lot in the past. Let the man keep winning, we already seen him flop with Revival (at least for Eminem standards).

And yeah, I care about sales, at least when my favorite artists drop. I want them to keep winning.

There are literally old mmlp tracklists written in his autobiography containing a few unreleased songs and he also mentions a song called “Dear Ronnie” which his family didn’t allow him to use. Holy f--- this has been stated like hundreds of times in here man.

I mean he already released "My Mom" on Relapse so if that "Mom" track exists he won't drop it, especially after "Headlights" HE DON'T HATE HIS MA! *screaming intensifies with every word*

I think some of you forget that his songs are recorded not specifically for each album. The song Kim was recorded in 1998 so you can include that in his Slim Shady LP sessions, even though it ended up on the Marshall Mathers LP.

After Bully, Love You More and We As Americans leaked online in 2003 he went to record with Dre for Encore, they wrote 16 songs and kept 11 of them so that right there puts to bed this idea that the only reason we got a--- Like That or Big Weenie or Rain Man was because those songs leaked and replaced them is rubbish, when those songs leaked he hand't even begun any sessions with Dre and ended up keeping 11 of the songs, that's the B*** of the entire album and Rain Man was the first song he recorded with Dre in those sessions. He also said in an interview after Encore came out that he had 18 songs he wanted to put on there but there wasn't enough space on a CD. Well the bonus disc had 3 songs so he basically gave us the album he wanted to give us. There was no replacing anything and why would he release Can-I-Bus or Monkey See Monkey Do or Bully when he had a song called Like Toy Soldiers? That was his way of saying he didn't want anymore beef because people were going to get hurt. If he wanted to continue those beefs no doubt Bully would have made it on there. People just make their own narratives up.

Also for Curtain Call, the only new song was When I'm Gone so that would make Shake That and Fack as part of those Encore sessions. Eminem said himself at the time that Jimmy Iovine couldn't understand it because they just released Mockingbird as a single and thought that base had been covered and Eminem had to tell him this was him telling the story differently. This is something Eminem has repeated many times over the years, going over the same subjects but trying to come at them from a different angle or writing many songs about the same thing but he always tries to do the next version differently and better.

Jeff Bass says there is a dozen songs that never made the cut for The Slim Shady LP. We know of the song Slim Shady, Eminem says they can't find the beginning for it. The Unmastered Sequence shows many songs were re-recorded for it like Murder Murder, Low, Down and Dirty and No One's Iller and Take The Whole World With Me. In his first recording session with Dre they recorded 3 songs, Demon Inside, Till h--- Freezes Over and My Name Is. The first two have also leaked so that is 6 songs right there baring in mind Kim was recorded in 1998 and would have been intended for The Slim Shady LP so that makes 7 that we know of and have. I'm not saying he doesn't have lots of unreleased songs from his earlier albums but you probably have most of it already.

Very little is known about The Eminem Show other Stimulate was on the original tracklist and was in place of Say Goodbye To Hollywood. No one knows his reason for changing that. I do remember Proof saying at the time shortly before it came out that no one had heard it and he had only heard a few songs and Eminem has been on his own at home in his own recording studio and when you look at the production credits it is mostly Eminem so I've no reason to not believe that. Does that mean a ton of songs were recorded for it? Probably. From Eminem's book we only know that there is another version of Business that is different from the final version, Square Dance was one of the first songs recorded and Superman was one of the last songs to be recorded for it. We know there is a song called Everybody's Looking At me which is sampled on The Kiss (skit) but that was rumoured for The Wash Soundtrack in 2001. We know No Apologies from 2006 was recorded during 2001-2002 so you could include that.

So maybe after 2005 is when things got differently or made even start with Relapse and the sessions with Dre in 2008. Maybe that was the beginning of recording many many songs and having many to choose from and then working with different producers, all they do is send him the beat. So all it takes is him to freestyle on something and that to be considered a "song". I think you just need to accept that Eminem records constantly. The only difference now is there is time between albums whereas in the old days he was releasing yearly pretty much and he was doing mixtapes and appearanaces and so there was always new songs and you knew no matter what he was on, it was at least something he did in the last year or so. These days you don't know that, he could pick songs from any year and release it and that's good, we would all love to hear more stuff like that but what would be better is if he did a release just for that and really dived into his vaults. Madness refused to clear Our House, so I get that, I don't expect that to ever get an official release but there must be stuff that is free from sampling issues that he could release. He has said in his book that he has hundreds of songs that will never get released because they are just for him and him alone to listen to. He made them for himself and that's fine too. I just think the early days from 1999- 2008 there really isn't hundreds of songs there, maybe even less than 100 songs for all those years combined, maybe even less than 50 that had any real chance of making it on to an album and that includes all the ones that have leaked so far. I think if you took away the ones that have leaked like Demon Inside and the re-recording of Low, Down, Dirty and h--- Breaks Loose and Bully etc.......you could probably fit all the outtakes from SSLP, MMLP, TES and Encore on a 2CD set. 80 minutes each disc.

Em or Paul (im sure it was Em) said that the amount of songs recorded for MMLP is basically what we got on that album or within that time frame with freestyles or features.

Paul had to tell Em that he had a demo version of Lose Yourself ffs lmao.

If they had this big secret plan to hold on to old material to release it later on his career then why the f--- would they release a Lose Yourself demo on Shady XV lmaooooo Lose Yourself!? Cmon.

Back then, people used hit singles, dope guest appearances, mixtapes to hype up their art and blow tf up.
Nowadays it seems Eminem/*insert legend slander is a bigger tool to blow up.
