Dec 13, 2020 The Revival backlash was due to half of it being trash. Not because of the promotion or announcement. MTBMB could have sold twice as much if it had a proper marketing strategy and more videos, interviews, etc.

Especially with someone big as EM I think it's more than obvious that whoever has some information is told to keep everything secret, no?
Dec 13, 2020 True, but promoting it builds fan excitement and expectations which Kamikaze and MTBMD didn't have. If Revival was a surprise drop, it wouldn't have gone shat on as much as it did.
