Dec 15, 2020 FULL DRE SCENE ON GTA ! Let's hope Eminem cameo lol https://southpawers.com/2020/12/15/dr-dre-gta-the-cayo-perico-heist-cameo/
Dec 15, 2020 Yeah, sure. They definitely could. ...but when you factor in the SNL appearance, increased social media activity, the fact he was in LA/Dre’s studio for 2 months over summer, producers etc teasing new music coming, Alek’s track record (got the cover art for Detroit 2 the same way), and the fact @M Solo ‘s source independently confirmed what @Guma @Xmipod @Grimace aka Andys Father were saying for ages...then it becomes clear that the most simple explanation is correct: an artist who is always in the studio is releasing another album nearly a year after his last one. Not hard to believe.
Dec 15, 2020 Carti with features like Cudi, Kanye, Lil uzi vert on WLR, that would really be a wrong move for Em
Dec 15, 2020 I think Em really likes the surprise format too. I mean he's always surprised, or liked surprising and being secretive. But not to the degree obviously of literal surprise drops of Kam and 'Murder. I think it keeps expectations and pressure lower for him, so he probably works faster. Anyway hope it's real, the cover isn't that convincing to me and I doubt the cover would leak out, not accidentally anyway, I think Em's team did that themselves if so to start some hype - but the more convincing aspect to me is XXL, Detroit News and Rap-Up all writing about it. Feels co-ordinated and like Shady camp is doing this.
Dec 15, 2020 What is the new cover is made by this https://umusic.digital/nqnrbf/ like we all could have done back then
Dec 15, 2020 If we only speak about numbers, carti's about to make a score Em's squad probably careful, a lot of bigs artists are about to drop during winter, maybe that's not the right moment
Dec 15, 2020 He does definitely prefer the surprise now, but he’s always hinted at dropping. Like with the Kamikaze t-shirts a month before. The cover looks very professional & similar to the first in terms of quality, but the biggest indicator is the unseen picture It’s not coordinated from Shady Records though — it was taken from the Spotify servers. They just aren’t denying it because the hype will help & they only have to wait until Friday to find out. Fingers crossed
Dec 15, 2020 Also the fact the original MTBMB by Alfred Hitchcock had side A & side B, the songs that didn’t clear the samples (that probably have been cleared now), and the fact MTBMB seemed slightly unfinished imo—like he had more to offer in terms of the theme. Artistically, it also makes sense. So I think it’s definitely something Em had in mind when making the original
Dec 15, 2020 I think what Eminem meant was he wanted more samples from the Hitchcock record but they could only use a certain amount and that was why he said they were "sprinkled" on there. I don't think he meant he had full songs that were taken off. It would have been like the Hitchcock sample at the beginning of Little Engine and the skits on the album.
Dec 15, 2020 "Arose" is a perfect ending though b. Powerful. Of all the endings he's done on albums - ironically on his (by far) worst album... it's one of the best. He finally had the balls to end it on a powerful note, which makes sense in terms of the album as a story and is way more powerful than trying to 'balance' it and just do a s--- talking or amped song to 'finish high' like he always does. It's such a format now when he does that. Took artistic balls to end it on 'Arose'. But I guess it's the least he could do after making us sit through over an hour of that other bs throughout.
