Dec 15, 2020 I said it a few days ago and I'll say it again. It should be a crime that this wasn't included in Recovery
Dec 15, 2020 Yup. It’s been the best for me for awhile, I just wish the cut wasn’t mixed so messy, it’s the only outlier.
Dec 15, 2020 I don't believe it will be his best body of work. The music up until Relapse was able to capture the attention of the world, an entire generation and evoke so much emotion and feeling. and that just hasn't happened since then and it's not a knock on him. Hip hop hasn't been relevant for close to 15 years and the general public has largely ignored it and there's nothing to suggest that changing.
Dec 15, 2020 it was cool for a couple listens but nothing groundbreaking from him... tbh I think I prefer Insane.
Dec 15, 2020 it's from the second version of Relapse 2 that he recorded. the third version of Relapse 2 is the early recovery sessions.
Dec 15, 2020 I think they’re similar like, fictional stories about fake childhood trauma. But the sexual abuse in insane loses me. Def same genre of storytelling
Dec 15, 2020 Uhmmm what, Hip Hop is literally the most popular genre in America and the second or third most popular in the world
Dec 15, 2020 Yeah, Insane just sounds more like Em to me. Stepdad kinda has that late recovery/mmlp2 yelling I can't stand.
