Everybody who works with Em and co. stays tight-lipped and knows to - I doubt DemJointz would put that confirmation out without asking if okay to - as he would know previous instances of people speaking too soon has led to scraps. Plus it's a very deliberate thing to do, with an 'unknown' project. Seems part of the marketing; I think Em's camp are experimenting with marketing. Again all the big mags like XXL speculating about it when they normally don't to. I feel Em's camp kind of officially confirmed rumours to them or something.

Dec 16, 2020 More than likely not true. The only physicals for Kamikaze and MTBMB were on Em's website. If there were physicals being shipped to stores then it wouldn't have been surprise releases.

Dec 16, 2020 I'd say this is more of an experiment they're doing - fueling rumours / light marketing. Spending no money, getting blogs and fans to spread the word with a few simple tricks - confirm to the big blogs/magazines it could be true - XXL, The Rap-Up, The Detroit News all wrote about it and others... get a producer to confirm it in a very deliberate, yet small way... I think they're getting to grasp with online marketing tactics. I'm in online marketing. This isn't a full surprise. I think they're seeing if a few clues the week of, but no official confirmation then a drop will result in more sales than MTBMB.
