Dec 16, 2020 yeah outside relapse mtbmb feels like hes hit a new creative streak. think the revival era/beard invigoated him fr. recovery was a necessary evil to regain his stature in high schools across america, mmlp2 had its moments.................. but kamikaze/mtbmb feels different. feels like he's finally enjoying himself, putting out the kinda of songs that he wants to w his friends. feels comfortable.
Dec 16, 2020 If the cover is real, then it looks like Refill. Which makes sense, since it would help MTBMB sell even more.
Dec 16, 2020 obviously 99-03 is em's apex. then 09-13 was his return to pop stardom. but 2018-today is a new era thats detached from wanting to run mtv or whatever. its fun!!!!!
Dec 16, 2020 Cohesion? Lol it's literally one of his least cohesive albums. It's a mess. Some amazing raps and fun songs but it's literally the opposite of cohesive, along with Revival. Kami and 'Murder are super cohesive.
Dec 16, 2020 MMLP2 has some really bad songs. They should have just kept the best from both cds and keep it one disc.
Dec 16, 2020 Naw it’s cohesive narratively. The whole album is tied together with retrospective songs on his past and how his attitude has changed from the original. The storytelling on that album is unmatched. Whereas mtbmb thinks it’s a concept album cuz it has interludes and a consistent aesthetic, mmlp2 is tied together with meaning
Dec 16, 2020 I'm still like 300 posts ahead of @Ricky but I have a feeling he's gonna swipe my victory away
