Oct 14, 2020 Brethren is a word white supremacists use to acknowledge eachother you hillbilly cousinfucker
Oct 14, 2020 I used to say it alot back in highschool then i found out alot of white power darshes said it so i stopped. I thought everyone called everyone c---- as bro overseas lol Jk but i dodnt know it was a popular synonym there
Oct 14, 2020 brother-noun plural noun: brethren Actually, some people associate themselves with some objects. Thereafter those objects get a bad name for their bad doings. A sad reality.
Oct 14, 2020 If Em is planning to make an impact on the elections, or at least try to have some kind of influence, wouldn't november be too late? I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Mosh-type of song on there tbh.
Oct 14, 2020 If we get any promo for this album I expect it to start with the Tyson fight. But the last two albums didn’t have promo so I’m not really expecting it either. unless he drops the night of the fight.
Oct 14, 2020 I don’t even have to say anything in response since all my brethren have my back on this. Phillip, you’re weak. Give up before you fall even further behind.
Oct 14, 2020 Random ppl across here and Reddit started hinting at another Em project this year and then later Hits Daily Double (which also teased Kami and MTBMB ) teased new music from Kendrick, Travid and Eminem too.
Oct 14, 2020 Because music is subjective and hip hop fans don’t give a f--- about what “critics” think. There are also many hip hop fans especially from older generations that don’t feel kendrick’s albums the way you do. “4 classics in a row” is a stretch too. No such thing as undisputed in hip hop to the masses.
Oct 14, 2020 I’d say using the averages of a pool of qualified people that have a reputation that proceeds them, a relative understanding of the profession & attempts to not use predetermined bias to sway their views into a more subjective standpoint which cannot be fully achieved but nevertheless attempted - is less disputable than forum members or random people of the masses. The 4 classics comment was referring to following his current trajectory, not saying he’s achieved it. As I said, taste is subjective. People misconstrue the term “music is subjective” all the time. Talking about classics isn’t about taste.
Oct 14, 2020 I mean music is subjective, true. But for an objective standpoint(which is pretty much impossible to get, I know), Kendrick's songs stand high in terms of unique production, mixing, his delivery message and unbelievable amount of versatility. I respect everyone's opinions, but critics take classes on how to analyse this stuff. At the end of the day, if something is good, any self respecting critic appreciates it. As for K dot, what sold me on him was the sheer amount of literary devices(allegories, allusions, metaphors, etc) he uses. Like d---... King Kunta-this one song has more literature behind it than a lot of stuff I've heard.
Oct 14, 2020 But that would never happen now as d--- not even close to a classic. So that CONSECUTIVE thing is already gone
