Yeah, I don't have anything against using pop stars, but at least put some effort into making it your own. It's painful to hear him rapping over this pop s--- and saying "f--- doin what you're told, act like a two year old"

i wanted to like this post then the "he had some success with LTWYL" stopped me...you admitting the song was one of the most successful songs of the last decade wouldnt take anything from your post...you coulda actually made an argument that it was luck or fluke..but playing it down as "some success" is wrong

It’s not that Alicia keys or Ed made the pop songs bad. It’s just eminem is really bad at trying to make pop songs. He can’t rap or flow properly. His lyrics and content are extremely bad and the awkward love songs are aimed at a teenage audience. Which it shows because look at how awful his current numbers are and the reception. He thought he was going to blow up as some political hero for all the kids around the world. He had some success with LTWYL and ever since then he has been obsessed with trying to replicate the success of ltwyl. Rihanna literally saved eminem that year and single handedly made eminem revelant during that song period time.

Eminem is a complete sellout and only a stan would try denying that.

Why can't he flow properly without splitting sentences and pausing at the snare is beyond me. The production is the problem too, he needs to hop on hip hop beats.

Cool verse but just feels like random grasping at relevance or maybe him responding to the notion that the album wasn't political enough to justify all the imagery and implication that it was...

Seems random af. He spends most of the song talking about himself (as usual) which just doesn't go with beginning the song talking about such direct and specific s---. It's such a blatant switch off course, maybe woulda been better as a last verse.
