    Take it for what it is. Who else would put out this good a song 20 years into their career. Impressive imo, but I can atleast understand this is a song for em fans, those who aren't em fans won't hear this and change their mind. It's not quite like his old music

    GoF is a bit overrated. Fine Line is pretty good for him nowadays.

    GoF is a decent song - don't get me wrong. It's such a boring song though. I've put that on during my runs and have almost fallen asleep.

    What I like the most about Phenomenal though...

    I'm not having a whole lot of trouble understanding what he's saying.

    Well, at least it's better than ShadyXV.

    We've all accepted Marshall has fallen off, but this was a valid attempt at something closer to TES + Recovery. Finally a hook written and performed by Eminem that somehow defies all logic by making "I AM PHENOMENAL" a fairly non-corny, almost 'good' chorus. Verses are a complete bore. Nothing of substance, but he's running on fumes at this point. 8 bars about being left handed. Can't blame him.

    One of Eminem's better releases post-2010. Will listen again.

    There is something interesing about the track doe:
    • The chorus, specifically the "I Am Phenomenal" part sounds like Relapse era
    • The first verse sounds like TES era
    • The second verse sounds like Recovery era
    • In the beginning of the third verse it sounds like he is trying to make the Slim Shady voice of the SSLP era

    I respect your opinion, and I think we have similar opinions on MMLP2 and maybe even Recovery..

    but you really think this song is better than Bad Guy, or Evil Twin? s--- even the Monster?

    Really like the chorus, but it sounds unfinished. I know that's not the case, it's just overproduced. Verses are decent (flow) and the 3rd pretty good. Overall, decent song. But I'm sure the s80 critics are going to call it 'bad'.
