Aug 17, 2016 i heard someone describe busta on that simply as "tired." after hearing em run circles around him on calm down somewhat to my (albeit pleasant) surprise, it's kinda setting in that the choppa ain't what he used to be lmfao i love the complete sarcasm in his voice. almost nobody picks up on it and i'm beyond fine with that
Aug 17, 2016 Goodness gracious you guys are r-----ed lol I don't know where to begin but here we go: 1.) This has moreso to do with Ebro than it has to do with with Joe. If anything it's Em's way of saying "f--- you Ebro, you dipshit." 2.) Yeah Joe may be on the same label as Eminem but....the guys just aren't close at all. Joe has alluded to that numerous times. Slaughterhouse is in fact, a FAIL. They aren't going anywhere EVER. Em knows that. Slaughterhouse knows that. Drake knows that. WE know that. Eminem doesn't owe Joe anything....Joe has shown more interest in making podcasts and TV appearances rather than actual music anyways. 3.) Joe stated in an interview with Ebro that he is DONE with the Drake beef especially since Drake won't respond musically. He said he respects him as an artist and says Drake did what he couldn't do. As someone said earlier, HE GAVE DRAKE THE OK TO BONE TAHIRY. This "beef" is anything but personal. If Joe is ok with Drake boning Tahiry, why the h--- is he gonna be up in arms that he brought Eminem out to a concert.....in Em's hometown lmao. 4.) This point right here is more of a hypothetical reach but...even if this pic was aimed at Joe, how do you know it wasn't all in good fun and Em's just dicking around and Joe completely understands his sense of humor? During the BET Cypher Eminem alluded to Joe's domestic violence past and called Yelawolf a hick, etc with it being completely tongue-in-cheek. This could be same especially since...yknow....JOE HAS STATED HE'S OVER THE BEEF. Anyways, the main point I wanna get across is if anything, this would be more aimed at Ebro than anybody else. Stop reaching.
Aug 17, 2016 Well Recovery is historic in terms of commercial success, popularity, hits There will never ever be a single as successful commercially as Not Afraid for that to sell over 10 million copies digitally just shows how much of a music icon Eminem is around the world I know a person who can't stand hip-hop music at all but loves this song mainly because of the hook. I'm talking about a person that is a very devout Christian, is in her 60's and her fave genres are classical, blues, soul and pop music
Aug 17, 2016 people think not afraid is just something em s--- out in one afternoon. there are 17 vocal layers on that hook, no autotune. it's f---ing mesmerizing
Aug 17, 2016 Yeah that hook and the bridge is the perfect example of why Eminem is my fave artist and why i love his music It's the definition of catchy Both the hook and his bridge give me goosebumps every time i listen to the song
Aug 17, 2016 tbh he knows exactly what people need from this music and will literally push himself to the brink of death to give it to them
Aug 17, 2016 not sure if you've seen it, here's a really great article about how recovery and not afraid were put together behind the boards http://www.soundonsound.com/people/mike-strange-jr-eminem-recovery this is gonna sound really f---ing corny cept i've always respected your ear for good music and what you and your staff do for people who would frankly have no where else to go so just a really heartfelt thanks for keeping all of this going
Aug 17, 2016 Not Afraid is good I never understood the hate. I guess it's because it was overplayed. And Koolo is overrated.
Aug 17, 2016 Everyone psychoanalyzing this s--- and I'm just like, "Yeah! Eminem's alive and performing! This has got to be a good sign for more to come!"
