    But why does it matter if Eminem's a better technical rapper if Kanye uses a lesser technical ability to make better music?

    By technical I'm assuming you mean rhyming? Rhyming is just one aspect of rapping. Just because one rapper rhymes a bunch of multis & another doesn't, doesn't make the first rapper better.

    The music being better is subjective. Some people feel Kanye's music more. Others feel Em's music more. But I'll just let the debate play out

    Rappers are artists, yes of course.

    They are the same thing, absolutely not. Picasso was an fantastic artist but want an impressing rapper.

    What I mean is that Kanye isn't only a rapper, he has also producing skills, stage presence and innovative ideas. Eminem too but less than Kanye. In my opinion.

    Eminem was good at way more than just technical rapping. Kanye is good at more than just rapping powerful lyrics. It's not fair to make this a one-dimensional thing

    Well that's the beauty of the debate, the subjectivity. If we were debating about what's the highest number between 4, 7 and 89 it wouldn't be really interesting.

    They're not as far apart as you think. Prime Kanye was great. College Dropout & Late Registration are classics. Despite some people being critical of it, I think Graduation is a really good to boarder line great album. I think what edges it to Em is the difference in quality between SSLP & Graduation (both their 3rd best albums imo) is pretty substantial. Not to mention Em's work with D12 & the numerous freestyles/diss tracks/loose tracks he just threw out during his prime.

    808s is Ye's best work followed by Yeezus. Everyone who thinks otherwise, is free to like Eminem without expecting me to try 'n convince them.
