    I just wonder what he would come up with if he did do a concept album. Relapse is probably the closest we ever came to one but it's not.

    if he doesn't want to drop Relapse 2 as a studio album (for his reasons) he could drop it as a mixtape since a LOT fans want to hear it and it could be a wise move to promote the upcoming studio album. He would make the fans happy and he'd make us hyped again :kdotbless::bigquint::whew:

    I'd love if he did a concept album and could actually stick to it throughout the album.

    I'd like a concept something like a track for each year he's been famous and how it has affected him and changed his life for the better and the worse etc.

    Seeing how he is finished talking about his daughters, Kim and his mum, that's a huge portion of his life that he won't talk about anymore. So I can't see him putting an album out with just random tracks thrown together.

    It's nothing to do with Paul. That's what everyone gets confused with around here. Paul isn't the boss, the label is. Paul's job is to find new ways to promote Em's music, as well as being Em's lawyer.

    As far as Em dropping a mixtape, the label would never do it as Em is the label's biggest money maker and mixtapes are free so no money would be made from it so it wouldn't be worth their while doing that aside from a few headlines on the internet.

    Well at this point he probably has a contract so he can't just do whatever. When he started he would've signed a 7-album deal probably (because those were the most common at the time) so, depending on whether Curtain Call counts towards his deal, his original contract would've ended with Relapse/Recovery. That would've been the time to leave the label if he was going to, but he seemingly signed another contract and we don't know what kind.

    But you're right - there's prob a reason he didn't go Indie at that time, and we don't know. My guess would be that leaving Interscope/Aftermath (as a solo artist) might have had a negative impact on Shady Records and the budget that Interscope allows them.

    He actually didn't sign a 7 album contract when he first was signed. I do not know the exact number but I remember reading around 2006 or so that he renewed his contract. I don't know what year exactly but I know there were articles about his contract being up awhile ago and him signing a new one. I know this is vague but it was maybe ten years ago. Pointless to mentioned since he signed a new contract anyway. Just thought I would add that.

    Em won awards for Rap God and sold milllions of copies for MMLP2 but the fans weren't happy and its all about business now...Campaign Speech was a d--- freestyle and the man made thousands of dollars...Nobody is gonna tell him he's f---in up ...nobody...No Favors dropped and it was hailed as the best song on the album with one of the worst features he's ever done...The s----s chess it aint checkers...Next album I'm expecting a classic because I hear some notable ppl on board and its about time ...Enough business its time for some real music:sweatt::hmem:
