    I had a thought recently that maybe he has intentionally been doing accapellas to keep the sound of the new album even more secret. Since the last few times - the pre-album freestyles gave us an insight to the upcoming sound, seems like this time they are OTT secretive.

    Got a feeling he's come up with a new sound with Porter and Batson and s---. Could be why Campaign Speech was so minimal too, they don't want us to hear his vibe.

    That's being optimistic though. As he's most likely just picked a bunch of random contrasting beats again.

    Honestly this is cool idea if they're actually doing that. I don't know though, sometimes we vastly overestimate the creativity of Em's camp and for all we know the album could really have a No Favors/Campaign Speech vibe which I wouldn't like but I still love everything Em puts out so it's not a big deal to me. But if they really are hiding an entire new vibe, and Em has songs w 2 Chainz, Wale, etc. then we could be in for a really good (or cringeworthy lmao) surprise.

    he has a soft smooth voice and thrives on 90's style boom bap production. He has a very soft vibe which can be construed as boring depending on the listener. I personally love Cole but I definitely understand why people think he's boring.
