    He can do it consistently. Problem is he chooses not to. Instead we get radio songs like monster and survival. Nothing is stopping him from using his old flow and style instead of his shouting and choppy style. A rapper can't loose his flow.

    Not really. I highly doubt that. Like others have said, he is making different choices these days, and it seems to be purposefully.

    He simplified his flow when he hooked up with the Bass brothers way back in the day. The choppy double quick flows aint nothing new. That was ems passion. Listen to anything you can find recorded by em BEFORE he met Mark and Jeff. Watch that lil infinite documentary that came out recently. They joke about it... but they aint clownin, Mark and Jess bass literally said in that documentary, that they made em slow down his flow, because when then first met him he was all about that double time flow. It was those two who convinced him to slow down his flow and simplify his approach so that more people could identify with the lyrics. Ems always been obsessed with quick time multi compound syllablistic rhyme schemes. Go listen to the bassmint tapes/ biterphobia soul intent etc etc.

    This is what he enjoys... that's why he is doing it.

    Thing is..... ems still got a big ego. He'll want to please. He always does. Not and entirely bad thing in this case.... because his OCD personality seems to ensure that he absolutely hammers any new vibe he develops into the ground until everyone else besides him is bored to tears with it.

    He'll switch it back up for the album in my honest opinion. He cares about what fans think. He still wants good feedback even at this stage in his career, so don't let all that 'em doesn't care what you think he doesn't give a f---' bs fool you.

    He cares! Without a doubt he cares. That's the irony. He always cared to an extent, even when he was all on that 'I don't give a f--- about nuthin' typa vibe.

    Not to mention the delivery, the awareness & the meaning behind it all

    I don't think if this drops (a single I mean)... that the VMA's are going to have anything to do with it tbh.

    I mean it would be cool if it did, don't get me wrong. I was thinking recently, it'd be sick for em to perform it live at the UK show (he's in Leeds on 27th) and then do a live beam back to the VMA's? I don't that'll happen though.

    Everyone's always looking for some form of event for it to premiere at.

    Whats the betting when the s--- does drop... it is literally completely randomly out of nowhere and a link will be tweeted on ems twitter account or some s---.

    Since I realised we weren’t getting a summer album, and w/ all the rumours of a fall release, it’s always made sense to me that they will follow the MMLP2 & Shady XV promo cycles

    A single in August, before the shows like MMLP2 w/ Survival

    And then an album announcement at the VMAS — both MMLP2 & Shady XV were announced at these awards, w/ a tweet telling us to tune in
